After showing them how to do it, they supervise the process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities \u2013 Sea- Pool<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Then&nbsp;they prepare themselves and the kids for&nbsp;the&nbsp;activities,&nbsp;the&nbsp;sea or&nbsp;the pool.<\/p>\n<p><u>For&nbsp;the sports schedule:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Group leaders announce the daily sports program to the team leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Children should be properly dressed (sports clothing, hat, sunscreen, sneakers, a bottle of water).<\/p>\n<p>After preparing their team they head to the sport activity that they have in their program. They try to be on time. During the sport activity, they help the trainer, they play with the kids and pay attention to those who don\u2019t participate, while trying to motivate and encourage them to do so.<\/p>\n<p><u>For the pool<\/u>:<\/p>\n<p>They make sure that all children are properly dressed and prepared (swimsuit, flip-flops, and towel) and they head to the pool area as a team. Before entering the pool, everyone should take a quick shower (there are showers next to the pool).<\/p>\n<p>Kids, together with their leader, get into the pool following the lifeguard\u2019s instructions. No one is allowed to enter the pool without a leader.&nbsp; Pay attention to those children who can\u2019t swim, so that they stay from the shallow side of the pool.<\/p>\n<p><u>For the sea<\/u>:<\/p>\n<p>They make sure that all children are properly dressed and prepared (swimsuit, hat, sunscreen, flip-flops, and towel). When they arrive at the beach, leaders head to the sea and kids follow them into the water. Please be careful of dangerous plunges and remind the kids to remain inside the designated area (inside the safety line). While getting ready to go back, they check if all of the campers are next to them and then they return to the camp all together.<\/p>\n<p>They make sure that all the kids take a shower after visiting the pool or the sea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Noon \u2013 Lunch \u2013 Midday rest <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At noon, they are getting ready for lunch. At the restaurant, they serve the children and&nbsp;then they join them at the table.&nbsp;Once&nbsp;they&#8217;re done,&nbsp;they start cleaning the tables they are responsible for.<\/p>\n<p>After lunch, they have the midday rest, and some children have their English lessons. During the midday rest, all children stay inside the houses with their team leader. They can either play table games or get ready for the entertainment program.<\/p>\n<p>After the snack, they are getting ready for the sports schedule, the pool or the sea (see description&nbsp;above).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dinner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After finishing with the activities, they are getting ready for dinner. At the restaurant,&nbsp;they serve the children and&nbsp;then they join them at the table.&nbsp;Once&nbsp;they&#8217;re done,&nbsp;they start cleaning the tables they are responsible for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entertainment activities \u2013 Bedtime <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every night we organize a different activity and various events (different nights at the theatre, dress up parties, mystery games etc.). We also organize excursions to the nearby villages, overnights at the seaside etc.&nbsp; The participation of the leaders in all these activities is the key of success. Team leaders motivate the children to actively participate in the games and the activities.<\/p>\n<p>When the evening program ends, they go back to their section and put the campers in their beds. They remain inside the room until all children fall asleep.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accidents- Illnesses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In our camp there\u2019s also a medical centre, consisting of two doctors and three nurses. In case of an accident or illness, they help the camper reach the medical centre in order to be provided with the appropriate medical care. During this time, they should inform their group leader or another team leader to look after the other campers of theirs. If necessary, there is an infirmary, where campers can stay until they fully recover.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the day, each group leader meets with his\/her team leaders, so as to inform them about the daily schedule (sports schedule, night entertainment) or to give them some advice about the daily routine. In any case, campers should never be unattended. This means that collaboration between the members of each section, from the section manager to each and every team leader, is more than essential.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>*Team leaders are mainly working in shifts, announced by the section leader so that the campers are continuously supervised, and at the same time team leader rests. English teachers are strongly encouraged to participate in the daily program of the campers so as to bond with their students even further and enjoy themselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>English teachers <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our teachers provide English courses to our international campers in the form of classes and workshops. We run all levels, from A1 to C2, in classes of approximately 12, with students aged from 7-16 years old. Each lesson lasts approximately an hour and each tutor teaches four classes per day. The main courses include educational games and activities like drama, storytelling, music and rhymes etc. to help children improve their English skills. The English Summer School is a pleasant, funny experience for our campers and not a strict language lesson.<\/p>\n<p>During their free time our teachers can join the camp\u2019s activities and enjoy our facilities. In addition, there is a supervisor who helps and gives them some instructions.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Trainers<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our camp offers 30 different sports activities. A group of 80 trainers is responsible for the daily sports program. Each trainer welcomes the children and explains basic facts about the activity he\/she is responsible for. His\/Her role is to motivate, help and entertain children. Trainers work together with the team leaders in order to ensure the program and its goals are implemented.<\/p>\n<p>Due to our daily rotating schedule children have the opportunity to get to know all of our activities during their stay.
