Skouras Language School was established in 1976, with the aim of providing high quality educational programs for students of all ages. Since then, we have been operating 6\u00a0foreign language centres in Northern Greece all ensuring a\u00a0<\/span>high quality learning experience for our students.<\/span><\/p>

The English summer school follows a modern communicative approach of teaching English, which emphasizes in learning through
the situational method (activities, games, theatre etc.). This ensures that lessons are student-centred and highly interactive. Students have the opportunity to practice speaking when learning grammar points, or having written tasks. All our teachers are highly qualified and most of them are native English speakers, coming from different parts of the world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Christos Skouras is our Director of studies. He has 40 years of experience in teaching and managing Foreign Language Schools. Mr. Skouras is responsible
for the overall implementation and administration of all aspects of the academic program, including the management of the teaching team and their performance.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our summer English language course provides 1 hour (or 2 hours depending on the level) of tuition daily in the form of classes and workshops, with a class size of 12
students average.
We run all levels, from beginners (A1) to proficiency of the Cambridge University level (C2), provided that there will be a reasonable number of students for the appropriate level. The students’ English language ability is tested on arrival through an oral or written placement test.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Levels<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Preliminary<\/strong>: At this level we address those students with 2 to 3 years experience of\u00a0the English language. Students at this level will understand and participate in
basic English conversations.
Intermediate<\/strong>: At intermediate level students can understand most conversations.\u00a0English responses, although not perfect, will come more naturally and
intelligently.
Advanced<\/strong>: Students have a good and expansive vocabulary and understand almost\u00a0everything. They become confident and can go beyond the basic responses and
express themselves in different subjects.
Proficiency<\/strong>: At the top level students possess near fluency in their language ability. They can\u00a0understand and respond to difficult questions, which includes abstract terms and\u00a0phrases.
*At the end of their stay students will receive a certificate of attendance.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
